• Summary, etc.: <p> This study aimed to clarify research trends in the Journal of Educational Research on Social Studies in the mid-to-late 2010s. The following procedures were followed to this end. First, 37 articles published in the journal (Vol. 81 to 90) were read focusing on the content of the research to inductively classify the articles into category, which were then named. This resulted in seven categories of research content: lesson development, teaching material development, learning assessment, History of education, curriculum theory, teacher education, and survey on student.</p><p> Examining the relationships between the articles in each category led to the emergence of characteristics of each category, and the relationships between these research content categories were discussed again. The mid- to late 2010s was a period where the research methodology was beginning to transition. As new research methods were explored, the fluctuations in trial and error to establish the research also provided an opportunity (although not completely coordinated) to three-dimensionally expand the definition of social studies, leading to a situation that invited more new research.</p>; <p> 本稿の目的は，『社会科研究』における2010年代中盤から後半にかけての研究の動向を明らかにすることにあった。この目的を達成するため，本研究では次の手続きを踏んだ。まず，『社会科研究』第81号から第90号に掲載された37本の論文を読み，研究内容に着目しながら帰納的に論文を分類して群をつくり，それらに命名した。その結果，「授業開発研究」「教材開発研究」「学習評価研究」「教育史研究」「カリキュラム論研究」「教師教育研究」「子ども調査研究」という７つの研究内容群が生成された。</p><p> そして，各群において，そこに属する論文間の関係を検討することにより，それぞれの研究内容群の特色を浮上させた上で，研究内容群同士の関係性を改めて考察した。当該時期は研究方法論の転換が起こり始めた時期であった。新しい研究方法が模索される中で，何とか研究を成立させようと試行錯誤する揺らぎが，社会科の定義を（完全に整合的ではないにせよ）立体的に拡張させる契機となり，新たな研究をさらに呼び込んでいく状況を生み出していた。</p>
