Summary, etc.: <p>水系洗浄剤の一種ノニルフェノールエトキシレート（NPE）が化学物質審査規制法（化審法）で、初めて段階的リスク評価を経て、第二種指定化学物質に指定された。しかし、その過程は6年もの期間を要するなど大きな課題があった。今後、化学物質のリスクを最小化していくためには、事業者側が自らが製造する化学物質についてリスク評価を実施するとともに、それに起因するヒトや動植物に対する被害について責任を有するという考え方についても検討すべき時期にきている。</p>
