Note (General): 筆者の農家インタビュー調査を素材に、質的研究におけるインタビューについての従来の想定や解釈の問題を考察する。従来のインタビュー調査の最大の問題は、「相互行為としてのインタビュー」という視点の欠落ないしは不徹底にある。この視点は、発見されるべき「現実」を映し出す「回答」という従来の想定を覆し、相互行為を通した「回答」の産出・構築への注視を促す。インタビュー過程への立ち戻りは、それが多義的でゆらぎを持った意味づけが現れる場だということを示唆する。その過程(インタビューの「hows」)を視野に入れた上で、「回答」の分析・解釈は遂行されなければならない。その点で、「ナラティヴ・アプローチ」や「言説分析」の手法や成果に学ぶべきことは多いのではないか。「相互行為としてのインタビュー」のもう1つの示唆は、調査者・調査行為とフィールド・対象の人びとの再帰的関係である。調査者はもはや「黒子」ではあり得ない。本稿は、こうした示唆に照らして筆者の調査を見直した中間報告である。
