- 文化・芸術研究センター長特別研究費ユニバーサルデザインによる研究領域高機能自閉症など軽度発達障害のある多くの児童生徒にとって，教科書で扱う物語における道場人物の感情や，「幸せ」や「死」など抽象概念を理解することは困難である．そこで，本研究では，軽度発達障害児が物語を読解しやすくなるよう，動画などを用いて登場人物の感情や抽象概念を可視化して，理解を促す教科書デザインの提案を行う，通常学級に在籍する発達障害児を対象として，詩や短編物語における抽象表現の理解を支援するデジタル教科書のデザイン手法の検討を行う．平成23年度は，(1)可視化手法の現状調査：ピクトグラムなどで抽象表現を可視化する手法の調査(2)抽象表現の可視化：動画で抽象語句や表現を可視化するソフトの試作に限定して表示デザイン手法の検討を行う。小学5年の国語教科書に掲載される物語「あめ玉」を題材にして，必要に応じてイラストや動画などを用いて登場人物の感情を可視化して，理解を促すパソコン版デジタル絵本ソフトを試作した．このデジタル絵本には3つの特徴がある．(1)読解支援のため，初期状態では文章しか表示されない．読解困難な文章をマウスでクリックすると，その文章表現だけがイラストで表示されて物語の状況が理解できる．理解が難しい文章は，動画で表示され理解が促される．(2)登場人物に注目しやすいよう，イラスト表現において，背景の抽象化の工夫をおこなった．(3)児童生徒の好みに合わせて，3種類のイラストが選択できるよう配慮した．広汎性発達障害児1名を対象に試作ソフトの有効性評価実験と，学会でのデモによるヒアリングを行い，教材デザインの妥当性確認を行った。identifier:23-文芸-4
