Note (General): [太子堂下本村遺跡要約] 旧石器時代では、周辺では調査例の少なかった当該期の遺物が出土した。縄文時代では、早期を中心とする遺構・遺物が確認された。弥生時代終末から古墳時代初頭では環濠と方形周溝墓が検出された。方形周溝墓の検出は目黒川流域においては初めてであり、環濠の存在とも合わせて、本遺跡が目黒川流域の拠点的な集落であった可能性もある。平安時代では土器焼成坑が検出された。土器焼成坑の検出は都内でも類例は少なく、重要な資料といえる。　????
