Note (General): 弥生時代後期の方形周溝墓３基が海岸部付近で確認された。方形周溝墓の可能性もある溝からは爪状圧痕を施した壺が出土し、何らかのモチーフを描こうとした絵画土器で、特別な役割を持たせていたと考えられる。弥生時代の遺物出土は少なく、集落からは距離を置いた場所に墓域が形成されていたとみられる。中世後半、近世においては集落が形成されていた。なお、縄文土器の出土は多いもののの当該期の遺構は確認されず、調査区の周辺に集落が存在していた可能性がある。縄文時代中期後葉から後期前葉にかけての土器が出土しており、海岸部付近への進出を考える上での貴重な資料となる。
