It is input coefficients among other information available from Input-Output table that aremost basic one. The input coefficients focuses on a column of Input-Output table and showshow the economic systems active. The input coefficients have the form like input ofintermediate products from each industry per 1 product unit of certain industry. In addition,it means production technical relation among industry. From the input coefficients, it ispossible to catch the necessary quantity of raw materials and input of intermediate productsfor 1 unit production of each industry. Therefore it will be clear to show interdependency forother industry, relation and causality between industry. Sometimes, the input coefficientsare used for as one way to express the consistency and usefulness of data. It is possible tojudge the production progress and production technologies are right or wrong in the Input-Output table from calculated input coefficients.The equation (1) shows that how the input coefficients are calculated. It is that input of rawmaterial and intermediates goods divided by production for each sector. The Input-Outputtable is based on its own currency. Therefore every calculation is based on its currency.[数式]There are two cases when the [記号] is calculated . One, the X will be ControlTotal. And the other, the total of intermediate sectors will be used as X[記号]. It is depends onthe aim of analysis that what kind of X[記号] will be chosen. The former is fitted for the casethat analysis is focused on interdependency between industry. And the case that controltotal is used will make a relation clear relation between intermediate input and value added sectors.In this analysis, the latter will be adopted. The EDEN Data Base are consist of not onecountry but nine countries of East-South Asia which has different economic development.Therefore it is important to make clear that not only industrial relation of its own but alsorelation between intermediate input and value added sectors
