Note (General): 成年相当ラット及び必須脂肪酸であるω-3系脂肪酸欠乏ラットにおけるdocosahexaenoic acid (DHA)の生体内分布を検討した。8週齢Winsterラット及びω-3系脂肪酸非含有の特殊食にて飼育した8週齢Winsterラットに対し、放射性同位元素C-14標識DHA（1-[14C]-DHA）を投与し、その生体内分布を検討した。ω-3系脂肪酸欠乏群は、対照群と比較して肝への取り込みはやや増加した一方、脳への取り込みはわずかに遅延することが判明した。
We assessed biodistribution of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in normal condition rat and amega-3 fatty acid deficiency rat. We administered C-14-radiolabelled DHA (1-[14C]-DHA) to 8-week-old normal rats and experimental rats which had been fed a non-ogega-3 fatty acid diet for 4 weeks, and then sacrificed them to investigate the biodistribution of 1-[14C]-DHA. In experimental groups, 1-[14C]-DHA uptake ratio of liver increased, and on the other hand, peak time of 1-[14C]-DHA uptake was delayed, compared with control groups.
