- 出版タイプ: VoRThis report reviews the experimental study on improving the catalytic ignition characteristics of green monopropellants for RCS thruster systems. We focus on candidates for green monopropellants: Ammonium dinitramide-based AMU propellants. Because the high viscosity of AMU propellant makes atomization difficult, we attempted to reduce the viscosity and improve catalytic reaction characteristics by adding 60 % hydrogen peroxide water. In order to evaluate the effect of the amount of hydrogen peroxide water on the atomization characteristics of the AMU propellant, injection experiments were conducted in a low-pressure environment. The static firing tests of thruster were also conducted, and thruster internal phenomena were studied based on the experimental results. The reactivity of AMU propellants with a catalyst was also investigated through open cup tests to explore a catalyst species for the catalytic ignition thruster of the AMU propellant.形態: カラー図版ありPhysical characteristics: Original contains color illustrationsレポート番号: JAXA-RR-24-006
