版本の体裁をとる「古戦場備中府志」の写本。15巻15冊。元文2年（1737）の甕泊隠士歇斎量、享保20年（1735）の容膝(（藤カ）)斎主人進藤益堅の序文を載せる。「古戦場備中府志」は川上郡平川村（現備中町平川）の庄屋平川金兵衛が享保11年（1726）に著作していた自著の「備中古城記」を享保20年（1735）に書き改め、「古戦場備中府志」と改題したもの。　備中の古城を郡内の郷単位にまとめ、軍記や子孫に伝わる伝記などのほか、諸書によって、城主の系譜・戦績などをはじめ、備中の郷・式内社・歌枕・備後国古城主についても記したもの。各巻に収録される古城はおよそ次の通り。巻之一は上房郡、巻之二・三は川上郡、巻之四は英賀郡・哲田郡、巻之五・六は哲田郡・小田郡、巻之七・八・九は備中の郷名・古社・歌枕・備後古城主など、巻之十は後月郡、巻之十一は下道郡、巻之十二は窪屋郡、巻之十三は浅口郡、巻之十四は都宇郡、巻之十五は賀陽郡内の古城。
