Analysis：

慶応元年（1866）焼失した雷門跡地に横殴りの炎が吹き付け、レンガ造の仲見世を炎が蹂躙している様子が描かれている。手前の人びとは自転車や大八車、天秤棒などで荷物を運び浅草広小路に避難した。画面全体が真っ赤な炎に覆われ、五重塔など浅草寺堂宇にも火の手が届きそうに描かれているが奇跡的に焼け残った。(Pr...
