The purification was performed by a fractionation with ammonium sulfate, sucrose density-gradient centrifugation, and isoelectric ......ophoresis. The cytotoxicity was recovered in the microsomal fraction of the spleen extract. Thus, it was concluded that the cytotoxic substance was not humoral.
