Milne-Edwards, 1880), previously known from the West Indies and Gulf of Mexico, are recorded for the first time from the southwestern Atlantic (southeastern Brazil). Munidopsis erinacea (A. Milne-Edwards, 1880), known from West Indies, Gulf of Mexico, and from off northeastern Brazil, is recorded for the first time from the southwestern Atlantic. The Brazilian material is herein compared with specimens from the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
