• 要約等: A case of“bronchial adenoma”was reported. A young woman, aged 24, was admitted to our clinic of Kyushu University, complaining of dyspnea and wheeze for several months.<BR>By bronchoscopy, a round reddish tumor of the anterior wall of trachea under cricoid cartilage was found and it obstructed trachea almost completely.<BR>After tracheotomy, a partial resection of trachea including the tumor was performed under general anesthesia.<BR>Pathological diagnosis was “bronchial adenoma”, cylindroma type and the tumor cells had spread to the peritracheal tissue histologically. The patient is now well without recurrence over a year following surgery.<BR>Although the adequate histological classification has not been established, “bronchial adenoma”has to be considered as a potentially malignant tumor and a radical operation should be necessary.
