- 論文(Article)This paper proposes the one dimensional multi-tier hierarchy system between central and local governments. The model aims to explain the allocation of the total government services into one central government and some local governments. It can explain the location of these governments. The model considers the trade-off between the scale economies of the central and local governments and the increase of total service costs in these individual governments. Finally, his model can make a comparative-static analysis to explain the effect of development of transportation and telecommunication on the hierarchy system of government services in the central and local governments with combination of very simple three graphs. As the development of transportation and telecommunication, the central and local gvernments will become bigger.
