- 出版タイプ： VoRAn experimental investigation was carried out for the purpose of studing certain characteristics of the wake behind a circular cylinder at an intermediate Reynolds number (lO<R<150). Special attention was paid to the variation of these characteristics with increasing Reynolds number associating with three different stages in its development. An illustration of wake evolution behind a circular cylinder accelerated from rest to a uniform velocity was also presented. Some details of the wake geometry were obtained. Throughout the series of observations, it was found that no turbulent motion was generated in this Reynolds number range.
