並列タイトル等Spectral line width of stratospheric trace molecules studied by laboratory spectroscopy
一般注記A spectral line width measurement system has been developed in which a submillimeter-wave spectrometer with square-wave frequency modulation is used. The line width of O2 is measured to examine the performance of the system. A good agreement is obtained between the measured width and the reported values. The pressure-broadening coefficient by nitrogen and oxygen is measured for ClO2, which is a trace molecule in the stratosphere and contributes to the depletion of ozone. The air pressure-broadening coefficient of ClO2 is determined to be 3.76±0.15 MHz/Torr, which is useful for deriving its altitude distribution from the limb-emission sounding data.
