並列タイトル等High magnetic field ESR measurements of BaCu2(PO4)2
一般注記It is known that Cu2(PO4)2 (Ba, Sr) crystallizes into a triclinic structure which belongs to the space group Pl. The magnetic susceptibilities of BaCu2(PO4)2 and SrCu2(PO4)2 with Cu2+ ion chains composed of four-spin zigzag units approach zero at 0 K after correction for paramagnetic components. This suggests a presence of a singlet ground state. A ladder model and a four-spin cluster model were applied to Ba and Sr compounds, respectively. The differences in the magnetic properties of these two compounds have been investigated by ESR (electron spin resonance) technique. High magnetic field ESR measurements of BaCu2(PO4)2 have been performed using a Gunn oscillator (120 GHz) at temperatures from 4.2 K to 77 K. Below 20 K, three resonance lines have observed. Above 20 K, only one resonance line has been registered. It has also found that the increase of the temperature above 20 K leads to a slight of the resonance position toward the lower field side up to 60 K and toward the high-field side up to 77 K.
