並列タイトル等B4C ceramics sintering using 24GHz gyrotron radiation
一般注記A2.5kW, 24 GHz compact gyrotron is used as a microwave radiation source for sintering of high-quality ceramic. The maximum microwave power is produced at the electron beam voltage of 12kV. The sintering system using such a gyrotron was developed at Institute of Applied Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences. In this paper, we will report the sintering experiment of born carbide (B4C) ceramics by using the compact gyrotron sintering system. Born carbide disks have been sintered without sintering aides and the additional pressure. The shrinkage of the disks were also observed at the temperature of 2000℃ or higher.
