並列タイトル等Ultra high temperature millimeter wave sintering by using infrared pyrometer
一般注記Microwave sintering is the new sintering method has been started mainly by the United States in the 1970s, and accomplished rapid growth in the 80a. The electromagnetic wave sintering has big advantages compared with sintering by the conventional heat conduction. The Born carbide B4C ceramics sintering had been performed under flowing argon gas by using the 24GHz microwave sintering system. The temperature of sample was measured by the two color infrared pyrometer using the optical fiber to avoid the influence of the electromagnetic wave. The ultra high temperature sintering up to 2200℃ has been achieved with the optimization of the thermal insulator. The sintered samples were characterized by the density open porosity and closed porosity.
