並列タイトル等Analysis of oscillation characteristic of 300 GHz CW Gyrotron FU CW I
一般注記A 300 GHz CW Gyrotron FU CW I has been developed and installed as a power source of a high frequency material processing system. Its performance test was carried out and the maximum power of 1.75 kW/CW has been attained at the cathode voltage Vk of 15 kV and the beam current Ik of 1 A. However,the obtained power is only a half of the designed value of 3.5 kW. The output power saturated for Vk > 12kV,where multiple-mode oscillation is observed. This phenomenon is a possible cause of the power saturation. Detailed measurement of oscillation modes and output power are carried out in a wide operational range of Vk and cavity magnetic field strength Bm,and combinations of Vk and Bm attaining single-mode oscillation have been investigated. The optimized value of Bm has been determined to give the maximum power with single mode oscillation for each Vk. The present study provides useful information in ceramic sintering experiment.
