並列タイトル等Development of Coherent Raman Spectroscopy in Terahertz Frequency Region
一般注記Aiming for investigation of dynamics of biomolecules in terahertz (THz) frequency region, a novel method of coherent Raman spectroscopy using frequency-chirped optical pulses has been developed. The method has been firstly applied to a GaSe crystal as the proof-of-principle experiment. Several optical phonon modes have been successfully observed by the Coherent Inverse Raman Spectroscopy (CIRS) in a THz frequency region (0.1-5 THz). To suppress the non-resonant background, polarization resolved CIRS has been performed and the resonant optical phonon band of GaSe at around 0.6 THz has been clearly observed with low non-resonant backgound. Then, the CIRS has been applied to hen-egg lysozyme water solution (40-weight %). Although no clear vibrational mode has been observed, a difference from pure water has been confirmed in the CIRS spectrum in the THz frequency region.
