一般注記This paper proposes a reliable approach for 3D motion parameters estimation by using only two images which are taken before and after 3D movement of the object. Under the condition that all features must be on a plane, lots of advanced methods are proposed until now. Comparing to the existing method, we obtained 3D motion parameters by LSM (Least Squares Method) based on a more convenient perspective projection model. Because the derived equations are hardly solved deterministically, the steepest descent method was used to find the solution. However, this iterative procedure sometimes happens to fall into a local minimum in the case of a few feature points depending on the initial values. Then this problem was resolved by using the annealing algorithm. And both the signs and the value of the solutions can be determined automatically in our method.
