並列タイトル等Evaluation method of open spaces for earthquake disaster prevention in urban residential areas in China
一般注記China had nearly 800 quakes over Magnitude 6.0 and costing a large number of fatalities and losses since the beginning of the 20th century. Disaster mitigation and prevention have been major concerns. The key issue of the disaster prevention system is the safety of residential settlements in urban environment. Creating proper open space system is a very effective approach against earthquake disaster. This research focuses open spaces system of the residential environment. Based on survey observations of the outdoor spatial arrangement and details of environment, we developed a computer program to automatically evaluate the open spaces, which indicates the earthquake vulnerabilities in different types of area under different damage situation. Finally the proposals of improvements for disaster prevention are brought forward and examined
