一般注記Mobility Management has been increasingly used to promote modal shift to environmental friendly modes. As an effort toward counterbalancing mode use in Ho Chi Minh city, this study explored the effectiveness of communicative mobility management measures to encourage students to change to use buses instead of motorcycles. We targeted at 83 students who frequently use motorcycles for school transport. In the study, smartphone app as an informative method on how to use bus was used together with requesting the participants to make behavioral plans and giving lecture about traffic problems. The results show that a combination of communicative techniques would be effective in persuading students to shift to use bus. Results of binary logit model on SP data has confirmed that together with travel times and costs, priority lane for bus, and the risk of traffic accident for MC are significant determinants of mode choice.
