一般注記This research investigates the bond and fracture characteristics of PC tendons embedded in grouting mortar from a quasi-static and dynamic perspective. Investigation of the interaction between smooth tendons and surrounding mortar is crucial for accurate estimation of bond performance and degradation. To this extent damage in tendons is investigated from experimental and numerical analysis. Additionally, damage modeling parameters are proposed and numerical analysis results are verified using image analysis. Furthermore, through pullout experimental investigation bond stress-slip performance is observed and analytical bond model is proposed. Good agreement is noted between experimental results and proposed model. Using finite element analysis based on proposed model, accurate replication of pull-out experiment is achieved for different pullout rates and grout material strength properties.
