• 一般注記: The purpose of this paper is to review and evaluate studies of work and family relations in the US by using the concept of work-family conflict. My primary purpose is to use the results of them to study Japanese workers' lifestyle that is under investigation. Several current studies of work-family relations started from Kanter's (1977), who argued that it was the myth that work and family domains were separate. Today we believe that work and family influence mutually, and we do not understand one domain without understanding the other. Women have increasingly played both work and family roles by rising participation of women in employment. As the results, role conflict occurs at work, within family, and between work and family. I considered the hypothesis, asymmetrically permeable boundaries between work and family roles, proposed by Pleck (1977) through work-family conflict.; 4; KJ00004282677; 論文; Article
