Research on the social support of design for smart production

デザインのプログラム構造化, ネットワーク共有化, リアルタイム情報の取得, 生産技術のデジタル化の4つの連携を意識した実践的プロジェクトの観察を通じて, ものづくりとデザインの主体が重なり合いデジタルデータを介して共通意識を持つことでデザインがイノベーションを産み出す過程を持つことを見いだした。この効果を促進するための方法はスマートなものづくりの安全面や環境面, 教育面へ支援を日常生活に密着させることであると仮定して, 実際に本大学に小規模分散型の施設群と管理体制および教育体制によるファブ・キャンパスという整備を行うことで, 大量生産社会を脱却する未来のオープンイノベーション地域社会へのモデルを示した。
This practical research developed a process for social innovation with regards to design by using a strong feedback system between design and manufacture using shared data. Theoretically the designer and manufacturer could be the same person, or separate individuals. The project made use of the programmatic organization of design in connection with algorithmic design, open source design, real time data sensing and digital fabrication. We assumed the strategic support of safety, environmental risk and educational opportunities based on daily life are essential to promote this effect. We also showed a model for regional development in the post-mass production age with the real "Fab-campus" project, making use of decentralized small facilities, management and education systems.
