• 一般注記: 出版タイプ： VoR; type:text; 本科研中の平成27年に京都で開催された国際経済史会議でパネル報告を行い, アメリカ南部地域の長期的経済発展についてノースカロライナ大学のピーター・コクラニス教授をはじめ, 複数のアメリカ人研究者と本科研の関連内容について発表した。さらにコーネル大学のエドワード・バプティスト教授と南部逃亡奴隷の研究について共同研究, さらにアメリカ資本主義発展の研究グループとの研究交流が開始し, 平成28年度夏にコーネル大学で招待講演と資料収集を行った。デジタル化された奴隷貿易関連資料や統計資料などの収集も行い, これらをもとに本科研の最終成果となる論考が準備されている。 The most prominent achievement during the years of this grant was the interaction and collaboration with American scholars on this topic and related fields. The grantee gave a speech at the World Economic History Congress held in Kyoto in 2015, along with several international collaborators. The grantee will be the lead organizer in a panel in the next Congress in 2018. New projects also emerged, including research on the runaway slaves in the antebellum US and interaction with scholars involved in the History of US Capitalism project, particularly those at Harvard and Cornell Universities. The grantee gave a talk at Cornell University in the summer of 2016 and conducted research in the archives there on materials related to the Atlantic and domestic slave trades.
