• 一般注記: 出版タイプ： VoR; type:text; 「プラセボ効果」とは薬に対する期待や今まで薬が効いたという過去の経験等の条件付けにより薬効が高まる心理的な現象である。その現れ方はヒトによって様々で、その要因を検討したのが本研究である。プラセボ効果はポジティブな思考を持つヒトに現れやすく、脳内化学伝達物質の分泌に違いが関係しているのではないかと着目した。健康成人に、カフェインによる眠気防止作用の説明を口頭で受けた後に、偽薬（プラセボ) を服用した。多くの方が眠気が改善され、また脳内の活性度も高まった。プラセボ効果は脳活性化に関連することが示唆された。脳内化学伝達物質では、ある遺伝子型を持つ被験者にプラセボ効果が強く出る傾向がみられた。 The "placebo effect" is a psychological phenomenon in which the efficacy of a drug is enhanced by conditioning such as expectation of the drug or experience that the drug has worked in the past. The placebo effect is more likely to appear in people with positive thoughts, and we focused on the possibility that differences in the secretion of chemical transmitters in the brain may be involved. In this study, healthy adults were given a verbal explanation of the anti-drowsiness effects of caffeine and then given a placebo. Many of them improved their sleepiness and also increased their brain activity. It was suggested that the placebo effect was related to brain activation.
