医療資源には限りがある。COVID-19 のパンデミックはこの現実を浮き彫りとし、現在、世界各国で不要・不急の医療機関受診と診療ができない状況にある。一方で、不急だがメディカルニーズの高い疾患も存在し、これらの患者さんへの遠隔医療が急務である。
耳鼻咽喉科医が担当する聴覚・平衡覚領域は不急の疾患でありながら、「見える」ことのない生体量である、聴力やふらつき、眼振などの測定が、各個人の症状を記述するために不可欠であり、通常、医療機関に受診して検査することが欠かせない。本研究ではこれら
の検査を、IoT 機器を用いて自宅で簡便に測定し、サイバー空間を経由してデータを収集するシステムの構築を目的としている。
初年度である2021年度は、データ測定機器のプロトタイプを作成した。また、加振器や音圧測定機器を用意し、測定機器の精度検討を行った。
来年度から、本機器を用いた具体的なデータ収集を行う予定である。
Medical resources are limited. The COVID-19 pandemic highlights this reality and is currently in a situation where not urgent medical consultations are extremely limited in various countries around the world. On the other hand, there are not urgent but highly medically-needed diseases; for these patients, telemedicine is urgently needed.
Auditory and equilibrium medicine, which otolaryngologists is in charge of, is one of such diseases. The purpose of the study is to build a system that easily measures the inspection at home using IoT devices and collects data via cyberspace.
In 2021, the first year, we created a prototype of data measurement equipments. In addition, a vibrator and sound pressure measuring device were prepared, and the accuracy of the measuring device was examined.
From next year, we plan to collect specific data using this device.
