一般注記This proposal focus on the new characteristics of ALOS/PALSAR sensor and the key problems of land surface parameters inversion encountered by our group at current years, some new algorithm and method of land surface parameters inversion will be proposed using ALOS/PALSAR. The research topic will mainly refer to surface deformation detection and monitoring, and bare and sub-canopy soil moisture estimation using ALOS/PALSAR data. In this report, the time series evolution of permafrost deformation and the velocity of mountain glacier were studied using multi-pass ALOS/PALSAR data and PRISM data. The detailed views of the ice-velocity field on mountain glaciers in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are obtained and the border information of mountain glacier is derived using the coherence of InSAR pairs data. We also developed and validated the bare and sub-canopy soil moisture estimation method from the polarimetric and interferometric SAR mode of PALSAR.
