一般注記Numerical study on the jet flow in a high pressure fluid has been conducted in order to simulate atomization, mixing and combustion in a liquid rocket engine combustion chamber. The simulation results successfully show the break-up process of liquid oxygen jet in the high pressure hydrogen environment, while there is a little disagreement between the simulation results and theoretical estimations. Numerical results on the nitrogen jet flow agree well with the experimental results for the pressure higher than the critical point. It is suggested from the numerical results compared with experimental results that surface tension should be considered under the condition below the critical point.
