- In the field of aeroelasticity, inviscid unsteady aerodynamics have traditionally been used to predict aeroelastic phenomena. In the transonic region, however, it has been difficult to predict unstable boundaries even for classical flutter. Recently, non-classical flutter which is caused by shock-induced separations on the wing surface was encountered frequently. To analyze such non-classical aeroelastic phenomena of aircraft wings which are caused by air viscosity (i.e., stall flutter, buzz, and buffetting), a computer code was developed which is capable of solving unsteady Navier-Stokes equations around oscillating airfoils/wings. The code is based on the Beam-Warming ADI (Alternating Direction Implicit) method combined with a dynamic grid system. In Part one, the formulation of unsteady aerodynamics calculation is given and a dynamic grid model is presented. The theory and the finite difference discretization are summarized. In Part two, two dimensional and three dimensional computed results are given, demonstrating the feasible range of the code. Additional problems are also pointed out which may be incorporated into future computer codes for unsteady aerodynamics around oscillating airfoils/wings.資料番号: AA0004217000レポート番号: NAL TR-1202
