• 一般注記: 27-28 Sept. 1999 (25th). 27-28 Mar. 2000 (26th); Boundary layer suction is applied to a turbulent boundary layer through a short porous strip to examine the development of near-wall coherent structures in the re-transition process downstream of the suction area. Low-frequency fluctuations are markedly suppressed near the wall during re-laminarization due to the suction, and they start to grow immediately downstream of the suction area, leading to wall turbulence. The growth of near-wall low-frequency fluctuations in the re-transition process is found to be associated with the appearance and meandering of near-wall low-speed streaks, which are responsible for the by-pass boundary-layer transition caused by high-intensity background turbulence.; 資料番号: AA0028636014; レポート番号: NAL SP-47
