一般注記The Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation express conservation of momentum and mass, respectively. Therefore, numerical schemes to solve these equations have to conserve these quantity numerically to get accurate solution. For simulations of turbulent flows, various kinds of turbulence model are commonly introduced in the numerical scheme. Some models are used with the wall function method, which can reduce computing costs drastically. This, however, may violate the above mentioned conservation property, because the governing equations are not solved in the region where the wall function method is applied. In the present paper, the wall function method with conservation property is proposed. The numerical fluxes on and adjacent to the wall are determined such that the wall shear stress obtained from the law of the wal1 is coupled with the governing equations. The solution procedure is described with the numerical results for a two-dimensional channel flow and a flow around a two-dimensional flat plate.
