一般注記: The FACOM230-AP, installed in the NAL computing center on August 1977, is a vector machine with pipelined structure, which attains 22MFLOPS at maximum rate. The AP system is a multiprocessor system, consisting of the FACOM230-75 CP and AP. In this report, we examine various job class scheduling methods for the AP system by means of Monte-Carlo simulation. The workload used in the simulation study was developped using the account data. In comparing the job class scheduling methods, with respect to the processor utilization and mean elapsed time of each job class, we can clarify the merits of each of the job class scheduling methods and find a suitable one for the AP system.
