一般注記This paper describes a new design concept of a rebalance control circuit useful both for the improvement of response characteristics and the removal of interaction. It is shown that an interaction between input and output of Tuned Dry Gyro (TDG) is caused by angular acceleration. A Direct Rebalance Loop (DRL), which is an additional circuit, has been developed, and its utility evaluated quantitatively by simulation. It is shown, as an example of response characteristics improvement by DRL, that larger amplifier gain can be adopted under stable conditions, and that settling time and overshoot decrease remarkably. However, it is also found that DRL is ineffective in reducing interaction. Such reduction is required for the success of high accuracy missions. In order to resolve the problems, a method of reducing such interaction by using subtorquers with the main torquers is proposed. At first, as theoretical analysis, the transfer function of the loop between the signal generator and the subtorquer (NIL) is derived analytically so as to remove the interaction. Next, it is examined to see what degree of interaction can be removed by the use of NIL, and as an instance of numerical simulation, it is shown that the interaction can be reduced by less than one tenth at input frequencies of 0 to 40 Hz. Finally, it is concluded that a fundamental design concept of a noninteracting control has been established.
