[ABSTRACT] Various Bidirectional Reflectance Dsitribution Function (BRDF) simulator has been developed. The model considers various vegetation parameters and used Monte Carlo ray tracing. Using the simulator, sensitivity analysis of BRDF to several vegetation parameters (e. g. leaf area, stem volume and leaf inclination) has been done. However, the spatial resolution of a model to represent forest is also important because BRDF is affected on a shadow. The aim of this study was to analysis of BRDF to spatial resolution of s model. The voxel model was used for represent a forest and Sentinel-2 was a target image. Firstly, reflectance was simulated by calculated for with shadow / shade. Then voxel size was 0.2 m. Secondly, voxel size was changed to 0.5 m, 1.0m, and 2.0m. Finally, refrectance simulated by each voxel size was compared with Sentinel-2 surface reflectance. The result showed, in case of band was NIR, RMSE was minimum at voxel size was 0.2m. However, in case of band was VIS and band 8A, RMSE at voxel size was 0.2m was larger than RMSE at other voxel size. Future task is to apply this simulation method to other forest and confirm the spatial resolution for BRDF simulation.
