Novel for children based on the story of the Cervi Brothers: Gelindo (born 1901), Antenore (born 1906), Aldo (born 1909), Ferdinando (born 1911), Agostino (born 1916), Ovidio (born 1918), Ettore (born 1921). They belonged to a family of Italian anti-fascists and they were taken prisoners and shot by the fascists in the December 28, 1943 shooting of Reggio Emilia.
