- 春光園花丸〔述〕 5冊 岡田氏(岡田玉山)画、木版刷り(白黒)。浪速書林版。寛政己未に(1799）年成立。1巻～5巻のうちの第2巻。諸外国の風俗を描き、その解説を付した冊子。内容は解説・画とも事実と空想が混在している。本巻では、「蝦夷国」(えぞこく；現在の北海道以北）を含む11の諸国がテーマとなっている。当時の日本の社会が、異国にどのような関心を寄せていたかが理解できる資料といえる。Shunkōen Hanamaru; 23 cm; five books; artwork by Gyokuzan Okada, woodblock print (monochrome); Naniwa Shorin book reprint; completed in 1799. This book is the second volume in a series of five and depicts the customs and manners of foreign countries with commentary. The contents are a mix of both fact and fantasy. Volume two focuses on eleven countries, including "Ezokoku" (present-day northern Hokkaido). This material can help us understand the social interest in foreign countries among the Japanese at the time.
