Summary: A film about the struggle of the gay, lesbian and transgender community to be seen and understood in a predominantly heterosexist society. From the original seminar, the cast of "The color of fear", an ethnically diverse group of eight North American men, discuss the feelings and prejudices they felt during the weekend about the sexual orientations of other group members. They discuss what it is to be gay in this society and the impact it has on senses of safety and identity. Through personal stories and interactions, we have a glimpse into the fears, the stereotypes, and moral issues that are dividing and confronting us today. A ten-year retrospective has been added, with Roberto Almanzan and David Lee talking about the original discussion, and other issues
