Summary, etc.: 最近の5年間 (1993年-1997年) に当院へ入院し温泉療法を受けた慢性閉塞性呼吸器疾患患者511例を対象に, 疾患の種類, 地域分布, および年齢分布などについて若干の検討を加えた。<br>1. 最近5年間に当院へ入院した呼吸器疾患患者は594例であった。このうち, 511例 (86.0%) が慢性閉塞性呼吸器疾患であった。この511例中416例 (81.4%) が気管支喘息であり, その他, 慢性気管支炎が20例, 閉塞性細気管支炎が27例, 肺気腫が48例であった。2.肺気腫患者は近年増加する傾向が見られた。3. 鳥取県外の遠隔地から入院してくる症例が比較的多く (1997年度で48.4%), その地域としては, 岡山県, 兵庫県, 大阪府, 広島県, 山口県, 愛媛県などからの入院患者が, その他の地域からの入院症例に比べより多い傾向にあった。4. 年齢分布では, 60歳以上の年齢層の症例が, 59歳以下の症例に比べ著明に多い結果であった。また, これらの症例では, 鳥取県外からの入院症例は60歳代, そして鳥取県内からの症例は70歳以上が最も多い傾向が見られた。
