- １冊２３ｃｍ地租改正について、明治６年（１８７３）７月２８日の上諭と太政官布告２７２号、同年７月の「地租改正条例」と「地租改正施行規則」、北条県の「地価調査心得書」や大蔵省の通達など、関係する布告や通達類を１冊にまとめた版本。もとの表紙には「地租改正法」とある。表紙は池ヶ原（現津山市池ヶ原）の地方政治家大岡忠友（１８７３〜１９４２）が付けて、「地租改正法及付属文書」と題したもの。題箋の傍に貼紙して「本法は駅逓法・戸籍法・学制・徴兵令・民会議事略則及び地籍編制と共に明治維新創業の七大事業の一なり、従来貢租は用地に石高を付し米穀を徴集せしか、本法発布により石高を廃して地価を付し、金納を以て全国の貢租を統一せしものなり 美作国勝田郡高取村大岡忠友所蔵」と記している。忠友が表紙を付けた年代は不明。当時池ヶ原は高取村の一部であった。（文責：岡山県立図書館）
