- １冊１６×２２ｃｍのちに付けられた表紙に「御定法聞書 全」とあり、横に、元禄から文政年中（１６８１〜１８３０）の幕府領時代の法令を、文化３年（１８０６）に岡伊八郎が書き写したとする貼紙（はりがみ）がある。寛保２年（１７４２）に制定された江戸幕府の重要法令「公事方御定書」上・下２巻のうち、下巻の刑法・訴訟法を主とした「御定書百箇条」（１０３条）の流布本を書き写したものと思われる。巻頭の目録と本文の条項が異なる箇所があり、巻末には凡３５６ヶ条とあるが、目安裏判・御料私領地頭違出入・御用日・用水川除・論所見分・寺社取捌・関所破り・隠鉄炮・村方雑用割合・賄賂・田畑永代売買・廻船荷物・奉公人宿・欠落者御仕置・捨子・密通・日蓮宗三鳥派・不受不施・盗人・火付・人殺疵付・縁談・家業構など、１０６条３４２項の条文が書き留められている。（文責：岡山県立図書館）
