倉敷の蘭方医石阪（いしざか）秋朗（堅壮（けんそう）、１８１４〜９９）の編集で、出版されていた「児島誌　上・下」２冊本（ＫＷ２８９／Ｋ／４／１・２）を敷き写し、１冊にまとめた影写本。「明治十六年（１８８３）仲夏模写之」とある。原本の罫線は省略されているが、書写・製本とも丁寧である。奥付にあたる部分には、「書者兼製本人」として備前国児島郡山村（現倉敷市児島由加（ゆが）・白尾（しろお）辺）の古市井作と三木〓吉の名前が、「所有人」として日新堂三木氏の名前が記されている。日新堂三木氏が、古市井作と三木〓吉の２人に依頼して、影写・製本させたものと考えられる。（文責：岡山県立図書館）
