池ヶ原（当時高取村のうち、現津山市池ヶ原）の郷土史家大岡熊次郎忠成（１８４２〜１９２０）が「太陽暦励行ニ関スル協定」と題して、改正された勝田郡高取村の祝日休日をまとめたもの。年間１９日の祝日休日とその意義を記す。協定書の作成年代は不明であるが、明治３８年（１９０５）以降と思われる。「大岡忠成編　勝田郡高取村年中休日協定書」と題する表紙は、後に熊次郎の長男忠友（１８７３〜１９４２）が付けたもの。協定書作成のため参考にした久米郡村長会・英田（あいだ）郡・後月（しつき）郡井原町（現井原市井原）・上道郡・和気郡・小田郡・御津郡・吉備郡・都窪（つくぼ）郡など他地域の状況を「太陽暦励行に関する協議参考書」と題してまとめ、巻末に、児島郡八浜町（現玉野市八浜）の「八浜町風俗改良概要」の写しを収録している。（文責：岡山県立図書館）
