• Summary, etc.: <p>Identifying sentinel lymph nodes in tumor cases may be helpful for accurate staging and determining effective treatment strategies. In this study, we performed lymphangiography and detection of sentinel lymph nodes from the edge of the tumor in a dog with a duodenal tumor. We found the sentinel lymph node at the base of the caudal pancreaticoduodenal artery, not the jejunal lymph node previously considered the regional lymph node. The lymph node was histopathologically confirmed as a lymph node. Since this lymph node is closer to the caudal pancreaticoduodenal artery than the jejunal artery, and its location is in the mesoduodenal membrane rather than the mesojejunum or right mesocolon, it can be distinguished from a jejunal lymph node or right colonic lymph node. We suggest that this may be a previously unidentified lymph node. We have named this lymph node the posterior pancreaticoduodenal lymph node, after the nearby artery, and believe that it should be further investigated in the future.</p>; <p>腫瘍症例においてセンチネルリンパ節の同定は適切なステージングや治療方針の決定に有用である可能性が示唆されている。今回、十二指腸腫瘤の犬において腫瘤尾側からのリンパ管造影とセンチネルリンパ節同定を行ったところ、これまで所属リンパ節とされてきた空腸リンパ節ではなく、後膵十二指腸動脈の基部のリンパ節が同定された。これを摘出したところ、リンパ節であることが確認できた。このリンパ節は空腸動静脈よりも後膵十二指腸動静脈に近く、腹膜の局在も空腸間膜や右結腸間膜よりは十二指腸間膜内であるため、空腸リンパ節や右結腸リンパ節ではないと考えられ、これまで同定されていないリンパ節である可能性が示唆された。我々はこのリンパ節を、近傍の動脈から名前をとり、後膵十二指腸リンパ節と呼称し、今後さらに検討すべきと考える。</p>
