Note (General): 本研究では、きょうだい児を育てる親に対する支援プログラム開発の一環として、当事者同士による「話し合い参加型」活動が、きょうだい児育てに関する考え方の変容にもたらす効果を検証した。障害のある子どもとそのきょうだい児をともに育てる母親17名に対し、きょうだい児育ての悩み、きょうだい児の不満感情への対応、きょうだい児と周囲との関係への懸念をテーマとした計3回の話し合い活動を実施した結果、参加者の解放感と同じ問題に立ち向かう仲間意識の獲得、親の価値観ではなく、きょうだい児自身の心情と視点に基づくきょうだい児対応へというきょうだい児育てのパラダイムシフト、親の理想とするきょうだい児像に向かう子育てからの解放と等身大のきょうだい児の育ちの過程に伴走する子育てへの意志が確認された。このことから、きょうだい児を育てる親に対する支援において、親同士が自ら選んだテーマに基づいて話し合う活動を組み込む有効性が示された。
