Note (General): 我々は、8m電波望遠鏡を用いた、銀河系からの中性水素（HI エイチワン）輝線を観測するシステムの立ち上げを行ってきた。本研究では、基本性能の測定観測を行い、電波望遠鏡の性能が明らかになってきている。さらに、銀河系からのHI輝線による観測から、我々の銀河系の2次元地図の作成を行った。これにより、50年前の最先端の天文学の追体験が可能となった。また、新しい電波天文学の教材である、1m電波望遠鏡の開発を行っている。また、大学生がこれらをテーマとした研究を行っている。最後に、広く一般市民を対象とした普及活動の新たな切り口として、SETI観測もはじめた。
